Here are two groups that may help you as your non-profit grows:

  1. VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT GROUP

This group is open to anyone in a paid or volunteer capacity from any sector (Non-profit, public, private) interested in volunteer management.

All welcome.  All VMG members are encouraged to bring a coworker, friend, volunteer, or board member involved in Volunteer Management along to each meeting and pass information forward.

This group is committed to providing education about the importance of best practice in all matters of Volunteer Management; Promotion of professional development opportunities; and advocacy for the profession.

Networking is an excellent resource and serves as a connection with others in the sector.

      2. COWICHAN FUNDRAISERS EXCHANGE is part of the Volunteer Management Group

A bi-monthly gathering of fundraisers in the Cowichan Valley to network, share ideas and support each other in the challenging work of fundraising.

The event is free, and we’ll open with time for facilitated networking and sharing of fundraising ideas, challenges and plans – an excellent chance to support each other, avoid conflicts in schedule, and find opportunities to collaborate.
