Umbrella

Volunteer Cowichan has under its Umbrella:

Better at Home

Better at Home is a province-wide initiative operating programs in up to 68 communities that help seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.

Mask the Valley

Mask the Valley is dedicated to protecting our region amidst the pandemic. Our Goal is to provide 83,000 free masks for the cohabitants of Cowichan Valley. It is a big goal, but a worthy one!

Youth 2020 Can

Youth 20/20 Can is a project connecting youth volunteers between 15 and 29 years old in Cowichan and the surrounding areas. Volunteers share ideas about projects, events or activities that matter and that they want to lead and manage, partnering with community groups, local businesses, and mentors to turn ideas into reality.

Community Response Network

CRN is a diverse group of concerned community members, service providers, agencies, businesses and professionals who come together to create a coordinated community response to adult abuse, neglect and self-neglect.

Safe Seniors Strong
